THERMISMOOTH

Your face and body say a lot about your personality and lifestyle, but once muscles begin to weaken and the quality of your skin begins to suffer, much of the confidence you had in your youth starts to wane.

There are several procedures available that claim to target skin laxity in the face and body, and some are more effective than others. Both surgical and nonsurgical solutions can address many of the concerns you are facing, but when it comes to correcting the aging features that are unique to you, you may feel stuck choosing the right option.

If you desire a minimally invasive face and body rejuvenation procedure that targets even the most delicate areas of skin, then ThermiSmooth Face and ThermiSmooth Body may be the treatment you need. Dr. Carl N. Williams offers ThermiSmooth as a solution for facial and bodily aging and can help you determine whether its application is suitable for you.

WHAT IS THERMISMOOTH?

ThermiSmooth is a micro-invasive skin rejuvenation technique that helps tighten loose skin by stimulating collagen production.* The treatment uses radiofrequency energy to heat the deepest layer of skin and induce the body’s natural healing process.* As a result, damaged skin cells responsible for wrinkles, sagging skin and cellulite are replaced with refreshed cells that strengthen and tighten the skin.*

THERMISMOOTH IS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS AGING AROUND THE:

  •   FOREHEAD
  •   EYES
  •   CHEEKS
  •   MOUTH
  •   NECK
  •   CHEST
  •   BREASTS
  •   ABDOMEN
  •   BACK
  •   HIPS
  •   BUTTOCKS
  •   THIGHS
  •   KNEES
  •   ANKLES

For those who do not want to undergo invasive surgery, but who experience wrinkles, skin laxity and poor skin texture, particularly near the eyes, lips and other sensitive areas, ThermiSmooth is the ideal treatment option.* Treatment sessions are quick and easy, lasting only 30 minutes, and fit comfortably within your lifestyle. Additionally, the procedure is relatively painless and requires no downtime once complete. Patients who have received treatment with ThermiSmooth report feeling as though they are receiving a hot stone massage.*

PERFORMING YOUR THERMISMOOTH PROCEDURE

An important part of your ThermiSmooth procedure is determining whether the process will meet your expectations. Because every patient ages differently, it’s important for you and Dr. Williams’ nurse, Nicole, to discuss what in particular you would like to improve about your skin. If you desire a more dramatic outcome than what ThermiSmooth can provide, then facelift, eyelid lift or body contouring surgery may be more suitable for your needs, but if you are looking for subtle enhancements that improve skin laxity over time, ThermiSmooth might be the right treatment option for you.* We will review your medical history and confirm whether you are healthy enough to receive a ThermiSmooth procedure, after which you can schedule your first treatment session.

To begin your procedure, Nicole will apply a lubricating gel to your skin and gently glide the ThermiSmooth handpiece over the treatment area. Radiofrequency energy emits from the handpiece and heats the surface layer of skin, which then transmits to the dermis. The heat activates collagen production, which begins to eliminate damaged skin cells and replace them with newer cells.* The treatment requires no anesthetic or incision, and you are free to return to your daily routine immediately afterward.

FOLLOWING UP YOUR THERMISMOOTH TREATMENT

To produce optimal results, you may require between three and six treatment sessions with ThermiSmooth.* During your consultation, we will examine the quality of your skin and determine the amount of applications that will benefit you based on the amount of skin laxity you exhibit. Your downtime will be almost nonexistent, with minimal side effects that may include some redness and soreness around the treatment area.

Because collagen production is a gradual process, it may take several weeks to achieve full results.* Smoothing and tightening your skin may take some time to become apparent, but your body will continue to produce collagen on its own long after your treatment sessions are complete.* You can expect to see your results after a few months, which are capable of lasting for up to a year or longer.* To maintain your results, it’s ideal to receive touch-up applications every 9-12 months.
